There are 1166 pages, in this book. The writing is very little and there are about 456 lines on a page. I love how the paper feels, I personally love Stephen King, and myself and Christopher John have set me a challenge to read it in a week.

I absolutely love reading and last week I saw the film IT and Chris bought the book for "both of us"(his words, not mine) although it's probable he'll never read it, or he might I don't know. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I have already begun reading and I am currently on page 114.

The film was really good, I've never read IT before, I didn't see the old mini TV Series that was on, so I was new to it, and I thought it was a good film. It was a lil bit jumpy but it definitely didn't give me nightmares or keep me awake or anything like that which is always a good thing when I used to be scared of the tiniest little things. Pennywise, I can see was a really creepy character for the kids in the movie and if I was ten, I most definitely would have been shit scared to suddenly see him pop up in the darkness.

I'm excited for the book because I love detail, and boy oh boy is Stephen King good at describing, and so far the book has touched on Georgie and Bill's story with the paper boat and Pennywise in the sewers, another incident which has happened that was not seen in the film (which I won't post about due to spoilers if ya gonna read it) and is now set when they are adults. 27 years later.

So far the film has done a great job of putting the right image in my mind. Normally directors can create something different, because they have a completely different vision of the book, whereas in this film the director Andy Muschietti, has literally made what I read about the paper boat and Georgie come alive.

Wish me luck. ☘️

Have you read IT? What did you think of the film? 🤡🎈

I freakin' love bank holidays, especially when I've booked the Saturday off and actually get a three day weekend. Yaas. 💃🏼

Last year I spent the bank holiday out with some work friends, where me and my friend drank about four bottles of white wine between us, that was then accompanied by some tequila shots (only I was drunk enough to think 'yeah this is a great idea!' It wasn't, it really wasn't.

This bank holiday I spent the Saturday morning shopping at Rushden Lakes which is my new home, apparently, with Em, and then I went and got my nails and toes done and then we all went out on Saturday night to celebrate my 2️⃣1️⃣🎉🎈 birthday, which now is most definitely over. 😒

Here's all of my pals, and if you're wondering where my jumpsuit from it's from New Look. 😍

On the Sunday me, Em and Chris went out to get a breakfast – I say breakfast it was past 12 but we went to an all day breakfast cafe in Northampton. Chris went home to watch the F1 and Em went back to hers and I went back to mine, I chilled out a lil bit, wrote a blog post (which is this one, incase you haven't seen it). Me and Christopher did end up watching Moana with a huge bucket of popcorn that was only £2 from Morrisons! And then we went to bed really early because we got up at 6am to go to the SEASIDE 😍🏖

Hope everyone had a lovely bank holiday (I do realise that it was over a week ago now loool ðŸ˜‚ but we do all know me!)

First it was American Horror Story, the SAW movie franchise, Skins, Gossip Girl, Stranger Things, Jonathan Creek, Riverdale then most recently it was Gavin & Stacey, but now it's Misfits. It aired in 2008 first, but it was an 18 rated show and only being twelve then, it's not hard to see why I didn't watch it the first time around, because I'm not going to lie – I was most definitely still watching Disney channel then. 😂 Hey I've got no shame.

I would like to personally start by blaming Christopher John who bought the entire five series of the show on DVD and told me that we should watch it and now, I'm hooked. It's all I want to watch and that is my only trouble with DVD Boxsets and shows on Netflix that have the entire collection of episodes because why would I want to watch anything else??

We watched two episodes last night, began watching series two this morning and watched two episodes in bed whilst I had a cup of tea and munched on some biscuits. We will probably end up watching some more tonight (which I hope we do😋) and for the rest of the next few weeks until the series are all finished.

I will be really sad when we come to the end of Series 5 and I probably won't know what to do with myself BUT in October the new series of Stranger Things starts and so does American Horror Story, gawd I bloody love the Hallowe'en season. 🎃

Have you ever seen Misfits? What is your current TV show obsession? Let me know in the comments or tweet me!
